Hosted by the Munich International Messe GmbH (MMG), Ceramitec is a high-quality exhibition of ceramic technology and equipment recognized by the global ceramic industry, which has been held in Munich, Germany every three years since its inception in 1979 (changed over to every two years from 2024), but the one in 2021 was postponed due to the pandemic. The Ceramitec 2024 held at the Munich International Exhibition Center (from 9th to 12th April 2024) is the first exhibition after the pandemic. Although the overall exhibition area has been reduced, but the quality is higher. The exhibition is well visited by professional visitors in the 4-day period. Innovative technologies, products and equipment are all exhibited, indicating the direction of the ceramic industry in the coming years.

Trend is one of the earliest and most exhibited companies from China to attend Ceramitec exhibition. Ceramitec 2024 is the 7th consecutive exhibition since our first one in 2003 for Trend, and this exhibition is jointly exhibited by Trend and the global strategic partner – IPS Ceramics Ltd, UK, aiming to show our customers the more professional solutions, more diverse product categories, wider sales network and the ability to serve our global customers in real time. At the exhibition, besides to display Trend traditional advantageous products – cordierite/mullite kiln furniture and kiln construction materials, the high-performance ultra-high temperature materials – corundum/mullite products, alumina bubble insulation products, special industrial ceramics and superb saggars (for powder calcination of EV batteries with significant technical advantages) from Zhejiang Trend have also been displayed, which has attracted great attention from the peers and customers in related application fields.

At the joint exhibition, the teams of both parties are led by Mr. Ian Wright – Operations Director of IPS, Mr. Phil Green - Sales Director of IPS, Mr. Guo Haizhu - Chairman of Trend, and Mr. Zhang Weiguo - General Manager of Trend. During the exhibition, Mr. Guo Haizhu and Mr. Zhang Weiguo also visited our peers, kiln companies and partners, as well as conducted technical and commercial exchanges with relevant equipment suppliers in Germany and Italy, in order to clarify the ideas for the upgrading and transformation of technology and equipment for Trend in the following two years. In addition, Asian Ceramics, one of the official media of this exhibition, has published an analysis article on the global demand and development of kiln furniture, "Heat treatment-Kiln furniture demand and development", introducing the latest development from several world-famous kiln furniture companies, including Trend.
