In addition to the above main applications, Trend also provides thermal shock-resistant material solutions for special parts of thermal equipment from investment casting, glass products and precise machining, steel industry, and coking industry.

Investment casting can make metal or alloy parts with precise size, complicated shape and smooth surface. It is an advanced casting process, mainly include investment casting and ceramic casting. A large amount of alloy parts made through investment casting are used in complex mechanical equipment such as automobile engines. The alloy investment casting process has extremely strict requirements on the thermal materials: strong reliability, high dimensional accuracy, uniform microstructure, stable physical and chemical properties, and no contamination to alloy materials. The pouring cups, special crucibles, mould shell covers, and lightweight ceramic moulds produced by Trend have excellent performances in the production of investment casting parts for automobile engines.

Cordierite-mullite materials are ideal materials for precise glass processing such as glass crystallizing, glass hot bending and heat treatment processes of glass products. Trend products have been widely used in the firing of glass panels for induction cookers, the modelling of sanitary ware and other glass products, and the heat treatment of glass art, etc. The crystallizing temperature of the induction cooker panel is relatively high, generally between 1150-1230°C, and the crystallizing time is 2-12 hours depends on the size, thickness and shape complexity, the firing atmosphere is oxidizing or neutral atmosphere. Kilns are usually tunnel kilns, shuttle kilns and roller kilns, and the heating sources include electric heating and clean fuel heating. For hot bending or heat treatment of glass products, the temperature usually does not exceed 1100 ° C. Electric heating furnaces (electric furnaces) or shuttle kilns are mainly used. The natural atmosphere and heat treatment time vary greatly due to the different shapes and sizes of glass products. The heat treatment temperature in the glass industry is not very high, and the load of the kiln furniture is not very heavy, so the most important features for the kiln furniture are long service life, no contaminations, and no sticking to glass products.

The areas in the iron and steel industry which use Trend thermal shock resistant materials are: the burner masonry and checker bricks of the stove; the preheating zone, heating zone and soaking zone lining of the heating furnace; the furnace body and furnace cover of the soaking furnace; The furnace body and furnace door of the annealing furnace; coke oven: the furnace entrance and furnace door at both ends of the carbonization chamber.
