T12 Insulation Materials

Insulation materials are the basic materials of industrial kilns, including shaped insulation materials such as various lightweight refractory bricks, and bulk insulation materials such as refractory fibre. Some of these materials can be used as the lining of the kiln to directly contact the flame, while others can only be used as the backing for heat insulation. In Trend product system, there are three subcategories of such materials: lightweight products, refractory fibres, and other lightweight materials. Lightweight products mainly include alumina bubble bricks, mullite lightweight bricks, clay lightweight bricks, lightweight calcium silicate batts, etc.; refractory fibres include alumina fibres, polycrystalline mullite fibres, zirconium-containing fibres, ordinary fibres, blankets, batts, ropes, folded blocks, and press-filtered products in aluminium silicate material; other light materials are mainly bulk light materials such as expanded vermiculite, expanded perlite, and expanded kaolin.
