T02 Extruded Batts

Extruded batt is also “general” kiln furniture, which refers to batt with a hollow cross section. It is usually formed by high-pressure vacuum extrusion or casting. Extruded batts are usually combined with silicon carbide beams to build large-scale kiln furniture structures, mainly used as kiln furniture for sanitary ceramics, glass-ceramics, and foam ceramics, and can also be used for kiln body and kiln roof, as well as kiln furniture for biscuit and glost firings of tableware ceramics. Its main features are light weight, strong anti-bending performance and excellent thermal shock stability. Therefore, it is suitable for fast firing of kilns with long service life and remarkable energy-saving performance. According to the classification rules of Trend kiln furniture, extruded batts are subdivided into thin extruded batts, wide extruded batts, long extruded batts, plain extruded batts, perforated extruded batts, extruded batts with cut-out, interlock extruded batts and special extruded batts, etc.
