Established in March 1998 this year Trend has been marking this coming of age anniversary with a year of planned events and activities. Let’s find out how it’s gone so far.

We started the year with a bang with a visit from our partners and friends over at Sacmi who visited our facilities and gave their seal of approval on our facilities. A long term partner of Trend with our business relationship already more than 20 years, Riedhammer and their parent company Sacmi have been critical partners in Trend’s development.

March also saw a traditional dinner and presentation to mark the founding of Trend, where we were lucky to have the two founders of the company and major shareholders Mr Yu Faming and Mr Guo Haizhu attend and heartily join in the celebrations.

A presentation was made by Mr Ian Wright on behalf of IPS Ceramics to mark the occasion and to further cement the IPS-Trend global partnership that has also gone from strength to strength over the years.

In May Trend also attended CIBF an exhibition focusing on new energy technology and lithium ion battery products. We have been attending this exhibition for the past 10 years and this time we have a new team to promote our products. In the future Trend will continue to support and develop this quickly developing clean energy industry.

After heads were cleared and normality returned, we continued on with our year of activities by attending Ceramics China in Guangzhou. As restrictions were lifted prior to the fair this proved to be the largest event for a number of years and offered the best possible opportunity for us to share our anniversary year.

We don’t stop there though, coming up in October we have the Ceramic Japan exhibition in Tokyo where we will be showcasing our sagger product lines. This will then be followed by our attendance at ASEAN 2023 in Hanoi where we will once again be showing our extensive kiln further range.
