In October and December 2024, Trend two production bases, Tianjin Trend Thermal Materials Co., Ltd and Zhejiang Trend Thermal Materials Co., Ltd successively obtained the National High-Tech Enterprise certification. This once again demonstrated the high recognition by relevant national authorities of Trend outstanding performance and continuous innovation capabilities in the field of high-temperature thermal shock-resistant materials.

Since its establishment in Beijing in 1998, Trend has adhered to the innovation and development philosophy of "Set Trend For The Future," maintained high-intensity R&D investment, obtained numerous patents, and consistently stayed at the forefront of industry development. Trend was first certified as a National High-Tech Enterprise in Beijing in November 2006 and had maintained this certification ever since. In 2015, the newly invested Tianjin Trend Thermal Materials Co., Ltd continued to lead development through innovation, set up the "Kiln Furniture and Thermal Shock-Resistant Materials Research Center," upgrade R&D equipment, strengthen the R&D team, and obtain over twenty national patents. Tianjin Trend was certified as a National High-Tech Enterprise in 2018 and 2021, and this marked its third consecutive certification.

This is the first time Zhejiang Trend has received the National High-Tech Enterprise certification. Since acquiring Zhejiang Lixin and establishing Zhejiang Trend Thermal Materials Co., Ltd in March 2022, Trend has continuously invested significant funds in renovating, expanding, and technologically upgrading the original facilities. Zhejiang Trend has now established production capacities for three major product lines such as saggars for power battery powder calcination, high-temperature thermal shock-resistant insulation materials, and ultra-high-temperature materials, and has set up a new research laboratory. Notably, the high thermal shock-resistant and erosion-resistant saggars produced by Zhejiang Trend, used for calcining ternary lithium battery powder, lithium iron phosphate battery powder, and sodium battery powder, have an exceptionally long service life, placing them at the global advanced level.
