Through improving the automation and intelligence level of equipment, Trend has been continuously improving product quality and stability. Recently, a latest designed automatic cleaning and packaging line for saggars was installed in Zhejiang Trend, marking one more step forward to intelligent upgrading.

Cleanliness is highly required by the calcination of positive electrode materials for lithium batteries. Since this year, overseas customers, such as one from South Korea, have raised higher requirement for the cleanliness of the lining of Trend's high-temperature saggars. Therefore, Zhejiang Trend designed and installed an automatic cleaning and packaging line on its own, after full evaluations and preliminary tests. This automatic line, with modular design, was divided into three parts: grinding, cleaning, and palletizing. Unlike traditional manual method, this entire process was done by intelligent robots. Combined with multi-dimensional sensors and control systems for precise identification and positioning, these robots can accurately grind flashes, clean and remove fine dusts, lay shockproof materials, and accurately palletize the products according to different sizes.

After several months of operation, it was found that this intelligent cleaning and packaging line fully met the extremely high cleanliness requirements for the saggars, preventing customer products from being contaminated by any possible impurities. It also realized the standardization and automation of packing and palletizing, significantly improved production efficiency and reduced working intensity.
