Approved by the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Changxing, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Trend Thermal Materials Co., Ltd., which was established by Tianjin Trend Thermal Materials Co., Ltd. on the basis of acquiring all assets of Zhejiang Lixin High Temperature Refractory Co., Ltd., was officially registered and established recently. The new company locates in No. 28, Dingxing West Road, Lincheng Town, Changxing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

Zhejiang Lixin has more than 30 years’ history of producing high-temperature materials. Its alumina bubble brick products, corundum products, corundum-mullite products, zircon-corundum products, lithium battery saggars, etc. have good reputation in the industry.

Tianjin Trend, formerly known as Beijing Trend Industrial Ceramics Co., Ltd., is a world-renowned manufacturer of kiln furniture and thermal shock-resistant materials. With the promotion of the national emission peak and carbon neutrality strategy and the rapid development of electric vehicles and mobile PC industries, the demand for solar equipment and new lithium battery devices continues to increase, and the development of these new energy industries requires support from high temperature and thermal shock resistant materials. After the establishment of Zhejiang Trend, it plans to invest a total of 119 million yuan to upgrade the existing site and production facilities and build two automatic production lines at the same time, to finally form an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons of kiln furniture & thermal shock resistant materials. The products cover Lithium battery positive electrode material kiln furniture, electronic and technical ceramic kiln furniture, aviation investment casting system, nuclear energy industry thermal support material, high temperature fast loading kiln body system and ultra-high temperature insulation material, etc. The entire refurbishment and expansion project is scheduled to be completed by October 2023.

Trend investment in the Yangtze River Delta region is another important strategic layout after investing in Tianjin Baodi plant in 2015. After the refurbishment and expansion of Zhejiang Trend is completed, Trend has two production bases in the south and north, reaching the full coverage of the product temperature range from low temperature, medium temperature to ultra-high temperature, which can not only meet the needs of traditional industries for high-quality thermal shock resistant materials, but can also meet the special needs of the growing new energy industry, investment casting and nuclear industry for anti-thermal shock materials; at the same time, it will greatly shorten the lead time of Trend products, and offer better service to customers in the Yangtze River Delta region, southeast coastal areas, Japan, South Korea and other places.
